Mark your calendars, because Travis Scott’s highly anticipated album, UTOPIA, is reportedly slated to drop this summer, according to Epic Records’ legendary chairperson Sylvia Rhone.

Epic Records’ esteemed chairperson, Sylvia Rhone, has shared some exciting news about Travis Scott’s highly anticipated album UTOPIA. According to Rhone, the album is rumoured to be released this summer, adding to the already growing anticipation among fans.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Rhone spoke about Epic’s plans for the year ahead and gave some enticing tidbits about what’s in store for music lovers. But, of course, the most buzz-worthy news was about Scott’s forthcoming fourth studio album.With the exact release date yet to be confirmed, fans can now eagerly await the arrival of UTOPIA, which is sure to feature Scott’s signature experimental sound and unique style that has captivated audiences worldwide.

The title of the album was first revealed in a post on Scott’s Instagram account in July 2020, followed by teasers in a thank-you letter to his fans on Astroworld’s second anniversary and a series of tweets in October of that same year. Recording for Utopia began in 2019, with Scott sharing updates on social media throughout the process. In a 2021 interview with i-D, he mentioned working with new people and trying to expand his sound, as well as rapping to new beats he had created.

In a June 2021 interview with WWD, Scott described Utopia’s sound as “psychedelic rock”. During the Cactus Jack for Dior Summer 2022 show, five new songs were featured, including “In My Head” featuring Swae Lee, “Lost Forever” featuring James Blake and Westside Gunn, two untitled songs, and “Escape Plan”, which was released in November 2021 along with “Mafia” featuring J. Cole.

Despite the setbacks caused by the Astroworld Festival tragedy, Scott has continued to promote Utopia. He performed a one-week residency in the Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas called “Road to Utopia” in September 2022 and performed “God’s Country” at The O2 Arena in London, which is speculated to have been given to him by Kanye West. It was reported in December 2022 that Utopia and a world tour are scheduled for early 2023. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Travis Scott’s newest project.
