Following a huge Ausmusic Month, champions of Australian music, triple j have dropped the list of potential winners of their major annual award, the ‘J Award’. It’s kind of like the Grammys except strictly Aussie acts, and with no long speeches or any Kanye West – swings and roundabouts I suppose.
We reckon it would be pretty hard to go past Amy Shark for album of the year, with Gurrumul taking out Double J artist of the year, G Flip taking out Unearthed artist of the year, and Mojo Juju’s ‘Native Tongue winning best vid. But who knows? Check out the nominees below and start guessing. Winners will be announced on Veronica & Lewis from 4pm Friday November 23rd.
