triple j hosts Ben & Liam might have been scheduled to appear at the ARIAs, but it looks like they settled for a night on the couch instead.
After sending Tame Impala and Peking Duk lookalikes to the ARIAs last year, Ben & Liam spent this year substituting themselves in another elaborate prank. ‘Ben & Liam’ were actually triple j listeners Callum & Luke, and while they took interviews on the red carpet, the real Ben & Liam were watching on television.
Having already fooled many with their seemingly vast array of lookalikes, we’ll just have to wait and see how they can raise the stakes in 2019’s award ceremony:
