Hell, if I was dating Rhianna, I’d miss a few parties too…

Tyler, The Creator’s CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts this morning, but the success of his sixth studio album isn’t all that fans are talking about. After debuting a string of highly-anticipated singles and performing at last weeks’ BET Awards, the rapper/internet troll held a concert over the weekend, during which he called out his long-time bestie and fellow rapper, ASAP Rocky.

In the clip, Tyler reveals that Rocky was originally supposed to appear on the album’s second track, CORSO, but the feature fell through after Rocky “ignored [him] for five months.” After letting out a nervous chuckle, Tyler explained how the songs’ verse was eventually filled by DJ Drama, but how “that was meant for Rocky.”

While Tyler’s revelation means that we still won’t have heard from Rocky on a feature or standalone track since early 2021, the news is especially disheartening for fans of the pairs’ years-long bromance. The rap duo have been frequent guests on each-others’ albums over the course of their careers, but their beef-free friendship has been called into question after Tyler’s callout.

Admittedly, Rocky has had a busy year. In May, the ASAP Gang alum revealed to GQ Magazine that he’s dating pop megastar Rhianna, and the pair have been spotted together multiple times since. Their whirlwind romance might explain Rocky’s ghosting, revealing himself as that guy who drops off the face of the earth once they find a new beau.

If there’s anything good about this news it’s that hey, even celebrities get ghosted sometimes too. Check out Tyler, the Creator’s full concert performance below:
