Setting the record straight…

After years of hilarious speculation and whacky conspiracy theories, Tyler, the Creator has finally come out on whether or not he’s the baby in that viral 2pac video. The clip in question has been resurfacing a lot on social media recently, showing 2pac and his friend John Singleton walking down the street in New York. 2pac then stops as he sees a young kid straight staring at him, prompting Pac to jokingly respond “Do what you gotta do man”. The kid doesn’t flinch once, with Pac again saying “Now I could keep walking or I could confront that man,” Pac says, laughing. “I think I’m gonna keep walking. I don’t know what he got with him.” Although the belief that it was Tyler in the video started off as a joke, it appears people started taking it seriously, so much so that Tyler has now had to come out and comment on it all.

Shutting down claims super quick, Tyler wrote on Twitter “thats not me as a baby with tupac dumbass ha.”

Damn, that’s disappointing, but this is definitely a compliment to Tyler though, as that kid had huge guts for staring down one of the biggest rappers in the world at the time, not flinching once. We’re guessing that Tyler’s similar IDGAF attitude is the main reason for the comparison, with fans speculating he was operating at a similar level of badassery even when he was a baby.

Check the video below, and see if you can understand why so many believed the kid to be Tyler.
