Following over a decade of crafting intricate pop songs that straddle the line between familiar and unlike anything you’ve ever heard before, acclaimed musician Ben Howard has continued to reinvent himself with each and every release. The latest instance of which is his 2023 album, ‘Is It?’ Dialling up the experimental side of his artistry by tenfold, the new LP sees Howard embrace the more uplifting side of his sound, all the while curating hybrid acoustic and electronic soundscapes that hit the sonic sweet spot.

So, you can understand our excitement at Howard’s announcement of his forthcoming Aussie tour. Slated to kick off on May 22nd in Perth, the run of shows will see him play some of the biggest venues in the country, with the likes of Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and more all set to play host to the ‘Richmond Avenue’ singer (just saying, the Adelaide show coincides with my birthday, if any of my friends reading this need any present ideas).
