Having just released their debut LP If There’s Anything You Need, Please Don’t Hesitate To Contact Us, Approachable Members Of Your Local Community hit their local record store to talk us through some of their purchases.

For those of us who like nothing more than spinning a couple o’ wax disks, there’s nothing better than hitting up your local record store and spending an hour (or ten) trying to get your hands on a rare treat, a classic reissue, or even… some Coldplay… That’s just how Approachable Members of Your Local Community like to spend their down time and we can’t blame them.

The Melburnian group has already gained the attention of Triple J, amassed nearly 400k Spotify listens, and played a bunch of sold out shows off the back of their singles ‘Semiotic Vision,’ ‘Millenium Queen,’ and ‘Velcro’ with their upbeat disco-pop clearly hitting the right notes with audiences around the country – including us here at LWA.

Though these guys aren’t just masters of groovy tunes, they also know how to dig in and find a couple of musical gems and have a bit of a giggle along the way. But don’t just take our word for it, check out this video of the lads hitting Greville Records in Prahran:

AMOYLC will be playing a couple of EP launch shows in Sydney and Melbourne in September, get your hands on a ticket here, and wrap your ears around their tune below:
