Having earned a bunch of huge support slots over the past year, including Pist Idiots, DZ Deathrays, Peter Bibby, The Garden, and more, indie rockers The Buoys are quickly building a reputation for their massively energetic shows – and it’s completely justified. After watching them play, you’ll not only walk away in a sweaty mess, but we guarantee you’ll have at least three of their tunes swirling around in your head.
Today, they drop the clip for fan favourite ‘Inside Outside’, which lyrically seems to be something of a “fuck you” to the people who don’t get the band (though it’s hard to imagine there’s many of them out there). The clip, which was directed by Clover Ryan, sees frontwoman Zoe hitting the track with 100’s Rowan Tucker, as well as some fine extra work by members of Pyjama Sundays, Baby Beef, 100, and Idiot Box. Fun game: try and connect legs to bands in the locker room scene.
The Buoys will be launching ‘Inside Outside’ at Vic On The Park next Saturday with special guests Shearin, you don’t want to miss out on it – info here.
