The new clip for Georgia Reed’s ‘Wonderland’ takes us on a journey through the shadows, and we love it.

Georgia Reed’s broody, alluring voice has been turning heads and captivating audiences since she dropped her debut single ‘Waiting To Run’ in 2016. Her speedy rise to the spotlight has seen her earn regular spins on triple j and a bunch of big support slots like The Delta Riggs, Stonefield and sleepmakeswaves, and after hearing ‘Wonderland,’ you’ll understand what all the fuss is about.

The brand new clip for ‘Wonderland’ was directed by Corin Delhaize, and captures the melancholic darkness of a toxic relationship, drawing influence from the gloomy subject of the track. “This song is about an emotionally abusive relationship I was in many years ago. Wonderland is what someone wanted me to be. It wasn’t real. No matter how hard you try, you will never get there because it doesn’t exist,” says Georgia.

The inescapable power and presence of Georgia’s vocals on the track is due to the ever-growing comfort she feels in the studio. “I really enjoyed recording ‘Wonderland.’ The more I record, the more relaxed I am becoming in the studio. It is becoming a place where I can really leave everything behind and let my idea’s run freely. Like a getaway for me mentally, it’s nice to really dive into your music like that,” says Georgia.
