Louis and Oli Leimbach, better known as Lime Cordiale, are on a red-hot streak.

They hit #1 on the AIR albums chart and also #1 on the AIR Independent labels chart with one of the standout Australian albums of the 2017 in Permanent Vacation. The guys are halfway through their Australia tour and we caught up with Oli who, by the sounds of things, is having plenty of fun so far – with the interview coinciding with the release of their new video ‘Naturally.’

The second offering from Permanent Vacation, ‘Naturally’ has everything you expect from Lime Cordiale – groovy verses and huge choruses make it pure ear candy. Oli says the song “is about people loving you for who you are… the lyrics are talking about stained on the shirts and picking someone up in my shitty car instead of trying to be someone who gets around in a rented Maserati.”

The 80’s flavoured clip follows two “westy blokes” (played by Oli and Louis) as they compete for the affection of a girl (played by their mate Tommy) on the beach, and also includes one of the most confronting 3-way makeout scenes we’ve ever seen.

Last weekend the lads hit Adelaide which Oli says, “was the biggest Adelaide show we’ve ever done …it was awesome doing that one. Drank some wine, visited the museum, did the whole tourist thing.”

Sydney two-piece Gold Member have jumped on board for the tour and the two bands have already reached man-crush level – they even decided to share a tour bus. “It’s just an idea we had in Adelaide because we were having so much fun hanging out,” he says. “Probably be sick of each other after this but!”
