With over a decade spent soundtracking on Australian dancefloors, The Aston Shuffle now find themselves as some of the country’s most consistent house producers.

With remixes for Claude VonStroke and gigs alongside the now-defunct Swedish House Mafia, the Canberra duo are no strangers to international recognition, especially since relocating from the Australian capital to the flourishing New York borough of Brooklyn. That’s just one event that they discuss in this conversation with digital media company Convicts, who also happen to be Australian creatives based in the Big Apple. Convicts have profiled The Aston Shuffle in this neat video, which also dives into their obsession with synths and an unexpected anecdote about prosthetic eyeballs:

Along with the video, The Aston Shuffle have also premiered the August edition of their Only 100s mix series, which blends all of the biggest tunes released that month. This mix covers fellow homegrown talents lie Cut Copy and Wax Motif, producers as diverse as Skrillex and Four Tet, and a remix of Rihanna’s amazing ANTI single ‘Desperado.’ Score!

Listen in below or via their SoundCloud page here, and by the way, The Aston Shuffle & Convicts are also hosting a little Only 100s t-shirt giveaway, so if you like to wear your tunes on your sleeve, enter it right here:
