For Saturday’s event, we headed to Sydney’s most prolific suburb, the 2026 with Middle Kids, Cub Sport and special guests Wild Honey. When you’re playing at The Bucket List, it’s pretty much a given that you’ll take two steps and end up on Bondi Beach, where we soaked in the faultless Spring day with a herd of locals and tourists alike. To loosen up, we also squeezed in game of lawn bowls before the hitting The Bucket List for the arvo of tunes.
On Sunday morning, there was no rest for the wicked – we were up bright and early for a trip to Kingsford-Smith, flying up to the Gold Coast for the next show at Coolangatta. We had a little dip at beautiful Currumbin Waterfalls (how’s the serenity?) before heading seaside. Being in his backyard, it would be rude not to give the man, the myth, the legend himself Mitch Crews a call, who showed us his surfing prowess and put us all to shame.
The show started with local guests IVEY, and we traded salt water for brews as the Coolangatta Hotel swelled to a full house by the time Cub Sport and Middle Kids took over. The crowds up north gave the Sydneysiders a run for their money! Byron Bay (Saturday) and Sunshine Coast (Sunday) – you’re up next. It’s the last Summer Sessions shows for the year, so prepare yourselves for a massive one:
