The magazine checks in with the pop star on the same date for the third consecutive year.
It’s hard to imagine having the kind of year 17-year-old Billie Eilish has had. Over the past 365 days she’s had a number one record, grown over 33 million Instagram followers, and got Drake on the text line. Here, as she has done the past two years, she sits down with Vanity Fair and shines a little light on what being a teenage sensation is like.
Compared to 2018, she seems more relaxed and self-aware, stating in the interview “I feel like I’m probably the most confident I’ve ever been in my life.” No changing her mind when it comes to her favourite movie though. 2013 film Fruitvale Station is still her number one.
