Along with some tasty originals…

Continuing on the decade-spanning legacy of MTV Unplugged in all of its intimacy and magic, K-Pop superstars BTS has joined the likes of past alumni like Lauryn Hill, Nirvana, FINNEAS and countless more, appearing on the hallowed series to perform a bunch of tunes.

Filmed in numerous different rooms, outfits and settings, the supergroup performed an array of hits from their latest album Be, ranging from ‘Telepathy’ to ‘Life Goes On’ to ‘Blue & Grey’ and ‘Dynamite.’

They also covered a Coldplay classic, putting their own spin on the ultimate stadium pleaser ‘Fix You.’ Of course, their many vocals and harmonies totally do justice to it, along with some pounding guitar lines that make the cover as a whole feel just as momentous as if it were being played for a packed stadium.

Speaking on the performance, the band’s leader RM said during their set “It’s really an honor to be part of the MTV Unplugged legacy where so many legends have performed. We’re deeply thankful” with singer Junghook added, “All the songs on our album are special to us. We don’t get many chances to perform our b-side tracks besides at our concert so we’re thrilled to perform them on MTV Unplugged.”

Once their set came to an end, the boys also sent out a message to their fans, saying “We were supposed to show you these stages at a live concert, so we’re sorry we had to do it remotely, but hope many of you still enjoyed it. We wait for the day when we can sing for you in person. We will do our best until then. We love you.”

Pretty sick, check out the rest of their Unplugged performance below.
