‘Like A Version’ has become somewhat of a Friday ritual – continuously delivering surprising covers from Australia’s best talents and abroad. Today’s performance is perhaps one of the most eyebrow-raising: Local lads DMA’s have decided to cover Cher’s pop/club crossover hit ‘Believe’.

Having first dominated the charts in 1998, just about everybody knows the words to the classic hook from ‘Believe’ – and here, DMA’s drive it even further into sing-a-long territory by slowing down the tempo and adding in gentle acoustic guitars. What results is a silky smooth ballad complete with Burberry checkered shirts and Nautica caps – dreams do come true!

Just yesterday, DMA’s were announced on the lineup for Mountain Sounds Festival in 2017 alongside RÜFÜS, Dune Rats, Skegss and more. They’ll be spending the rest of the year touring throughout Europe before welcoming the new year at Falls Festival.
