The breakthrough single from the Sydney duo turns twelve years old this year…

It seems veteran dance maestros Flight Facilities are feeling a bit nostalgic this Wednesday, the Aussie mainstay (and pride of Darlinghurst’s South Dowling Sandwiches) unveiling a special rendition of their second ever single, ‘Foreign Language’.

Shot at their recent hometown show, Airfields, the clip rivals that of a Hollywood blockbuster as atmospheric camera cuts and aerial shots show the sheer scope of Airfields and the cataclysmic reception to it live. If you were lucky enough to be in attendance at the show, you might even spot yourself in the five minute clip, with various cuts to the crowd and punters amongst the shots of Owl Eyes and Flight Facilities showing just how high the vibes were at their return to the Sydney live stage.

It seems that the single in question has some added meaning for the dance duo, with Flight Facilities writing on Instagram, “Our second-ever single, and the first we signed to Future Classic in late 2010. Written with friend Jessica Higgs aka George Maple. A hometown show in Sydney to kick off a tour with the one and only Owl Eyes. We will remember this night Forever.”
