Just a day following their impromptu set in New York’s Time Square, dance music titans Fred Again, Skrillex and Four Tet took to Madison Square Garden this past weekend for a show of biblical proportions.
Featuring the three producers going B2B2B for a mammoth five hour set, the gig was reportedly only organised the night before after Four Tet (real name Kieran Hebden) told Fred Again that he had dreamed of throwing a pop-up show at the iconic NYC venue. Of course, this is Fred Again we’re talking about here, the undisputed king of throwing massive last minute shows (shoutout to any fellow attendees of his recent Hordern pop-up in Sydney). And so, the UK maestro helped make Four Tet’s dream a reality, with none other than veteran dance music juggernaut Skrillex in tow.

As you’d expect, the scenes from the show were enormous to say the least, 20,000 attendees going mad for the dynamic trio on stage. Fred and co. appeared to be as equally ecstatic as well, with the ‘Lights Out’ producer and Four Tet frantically mixing on the decks while Skrillex hyped up the crowd in response. It was another example of just how big these pop-up shows Fred Again has been throwing can get, and it seems like it isn’t going to be stopping any time soon. Check out video footage from the night below, along with our recent recap of Fred’s Hordern show above.
