Making us all Beliebers…

It seems like all the bad times and drama is properly behind Justin Bieber, winning back the heart of the world with his recent heartfelt releases and openness about growing up as a child star. He keeps the fire going with his latest SNL performance, taking to the hallowed stage to perform his hit ‘Holy’ with Chance the Rapper as well as his most recent release ‘Lonely’ with Benny Blanco.

The Biebs ditched all the glitz and glam for ‘Holy’, singing with a super minimal stage setup, just a single cross behind him and some shrubbery. His vocals seem to be in pretty top knick as well, crooning in that sweet tenor voice that just hits the spot. Chano gets his ‘Holy’ on as well, jumping onto the stage for a super bouncy verse that throws it back to the days of Colouring Book (thankfully not The Big Day). The end of the tune rounds out with some beautiful choir vocals and harmonies as well, as the pair take us to church all from the SNL stage.

Bieber got slightly more deep for his ‘Lonely’ performance, singing with just a stripped back piano. He got inventive with the performance itself as well, singing in his dressing mirror while facing himself in the mirror. He then walks through the empty halls to the SNL stage. The tune really sees the Biebs’ pains about growing up in the spotlight, and it’s a pretty dope insight into where he’s at in 2020. Check out the two performances below.
