The latest performance as part of the actor’s barnyard-bound ‘Goat series.’

Kevin Bacon has performed his own version of a Beyoncé song, covering the popstar’s track ‘Heated’ to an audience pet goats. Footage of the cover was posted to Bacon’s social media overnight, and sees the actor belt out an acoustic version of the song, which featured on the tracklist of Beyoncé’s most recent album Renaissance.

In the accompanying caption, the Footloose actor praised the song before referencing his animal onlookers, which occupy Bacon’s livestock farm in Connecticut. “Hot day, hot song,” Bacon wrote of the album cut, “Loving this track.” For his version, Bacon adds guitar strings to the afrobeat-inspired original, as three goats dawdle in his farmyard moshpit.

Bacon’s Beyoncé rendition adds to a slew of previous covers performed by the superstar as part of his so-called ‘Goat Series.’ Last month, Bacon appeared alongside another goat for a take on Harry Styles’ ‘Late Night Talking’, which appeared on the former’s 2022 album ‘Harry’s House.’ Elsewhere, he’s covered the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift and Chris Stapleton.

Although he’s largely known for his movie roles — which famously connect him to every other Hollywood actor via the ‘Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon’ rule — the star is no stranger to the music scene. Bacon has formed one half of the folk duo Bacon Brothers alongside his sibling Michael since 1995, and is currently touring with the group across the US.

Elsewhere, Bacon is gearing up for the release of One Way, an upcoming action film which he stars in alongside Machine Gun Kelly. Peep more covers from Bacon’s ‘Goat Series’ above, and see for yourself whether he can be separated beyond six degrees here.
