The Kid LAROI appeared in the crowd of two young buskers in Sydney over the weekend. Taking time out of his End Of The World Australian tour, which kicked off in Qudos Bank Arena last week, the rapper surprised a 15-year-old and his brother, who were busking along Pitt Street when they noticed LAROI in the audience.
Footage of the event shows LAROI enjoying the pair’s performance before taking to the stage to congratulate them. “Hey Pitt Street,” LAROI said, “let me say, these two kids are up next. Can we make some noise for them now?”
Afterwards, the busker – known onstage as “Dylan Billion Dollars” – told 2GB that LAROI and his entourage began dropping hundred dollar bills into his tip hat, collectively amounting to $1,000. Speaking to Ben Fordham, Dylan said he was unaware of LAROI’s attendance until his brother noticed him in the crowd.
“I saw some of his producers watching me … then I looked away into the crowd because I have to keep momentum up, and then I looked back and suddenly I saw The Kid Laroi…“Having someone as big as The Kid Laroi popping up in the city … showing love … it made my day … it made my whole life, really,” Dylan said.
