Going from strength to strength…

Homegrown star The Kid LAROI is continuing to reach huge heights and make Australia proud, the Sydney-born hip hop star teasing his upcoming single ‘Stay’ and accompanying music video with Justin Bieber.

The trailer comes after LAROI’s announcement on Twitter last week that the collaboration would be released on July 9th, posting a screenshot of a conversation with Bieber who writes ‘Let’s go July 9th!!!!’

The 20 second snippet sees the pair step up the energy from their last collaboration ‘Unstable,’ which appeared on Bieber’s most recent album Justice. ‘Stay’ appears to take full advantage of both singers’ vocal rangers, both going ham with hard-hitting tenor vocals atop frantic synths and drums.

The music video has them take to a city landscape as they sing in empty apartments, what appears to be an empty train station and neighbourhood streets. There’s also a sick shot of LAROI singing at the very top of a building, the camera pivoting down to give you full appreciation of how damn high up he is. Anything for the shot right?
