Shaggy might not be the first musician you seek out for political commentary, but his latest effort with James Corden is pretty hilarious and effective.

The Jamaican singer has dressed up as Donald Trump in this spoof, remixing his 2000 hit ‘It Wasn’t Me’ – except this time, instead of denying that he’s been cheating on his girlfriend, Shaggy (or Trump in this case) spends the track denying Russians involvement in the Presidential election. How do they come up with this shit? Who knows, but this is a pretty good snapshot of Trump’s America in 2018 – people don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
