Definitely not the kind of video we’re used to seeing from Snoop…

With the U.S. election heating up as we get closer to November 3, countless celebs and artists are coming out to get involved in the political process. From Beyonce & Jay-Z to The Rock, it seems the 2020 election is gearing up to be the biggest one in U.S. history. Now, the Doggfather himself Snoop Dogg has himself gotten involved, giving the world a hilarious 14 minute video on how to register for vote.

Posting the full tutorial to his YouTube channel SnoopDoggTV, the hip hop legend literally went step-by-step through the process on how to register on the California online portal, in the hope that anyone else who had worries about navigating the system would be able to do it along with him.

Opening up on his voting record last year with radio OG Big Boy, Snoop explained that he’d been “brainwashed” into thinking he couldn’t vote as a young man, partly because he believed his criminal record wouldn’t allow him to. But like so many other celebs in 2020, Donald Trump had pushed him to look into his rights and get involved in the political process.

“I ain’t never voted a day in my life, but this year I think Imma get out and vote because I can’t stand to see this punk in office one more year. “For many years they had me brainwashed thinking that you couldn’t vote cause you had a criminal record. I didn’t know that. My record’s been expunged, so now I can vote.”

It’s a pretty powerful move by Snoop, and will no doubt have a big influence on other voters come November 3. Check the full video below.
