Soma dropped in to do some BBQing with Boo Seeka for Q The Music.
If you’re anything like us, you’ve been obsessing over vibe queen Soma’s newest mixtape Cobra. Accompanied by a 20-minute short film, the mixtape is this weaving exploration of R&B, rap, and neo-soul that feels alive with Soma’s energy coursing through every single bar.

When you listen to it, your first reaction is probably more like “when can I see this live” as opposed to “I wonder what she would cook on a BBQ”, but we knew she’d be a 10/10 hang around a Weber, so it made sense to get her in for an episode of Q The Music.
Paying homage to her Eastern Suburbs beginnings, Soma cooked us the simple crowd-pleaser that she used to chow down on after a day amongst the waves: beef skewers.
