Still killed it…

Kevin Parker, ever the perfectionist, has come through with another version of ‘Borderline’, this time for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Tame fans will be well aware of the whole ‘Borderline’ situation, with Kev debuting a distinctly different version of the tune last year on SNL, before changing it up completely for the Slow Rush release earlier this year. It seems Kev is trying to now morph the two different versions of the tune, the latest iteration of the tune capturing the more punchy, rougher version of the original, but still featuring the louder synth and bass sections from the Slow Rush version.

TBH, this version is without a doubt our favourite, as it combines everything good about the two tunes into one delicious snack. Also special shoutout to the Tame Impala Soundsystem making a cheeky re-appearance. We’re definitely hoping the sound system is somehow integrated into the live show when things go back to normal.
