The Weeknd’s 2015 single ‘Tell Your Friends’ was a highlight, so much so that it earned a cover from Kanye West and a even remix from 2000s icon Ja Rule. Now we have another alternate version starring a NYC GOAT.

Nas has aged with much more resilience than many emcees from the Golden Era, and he proves it once again with this live performance shared by Montreatlity. The performance took place at the Met Gala ball in New York City, where The Weeknd invited Nas onstage to debut the ‘Tell Your Friends’ remix, much to the delight of the audience.

The Weeknd and Nas isn’t a pairing that might look a little odd on paper, but Nas’ solid bars ease in well with The Weeknd’s silky crooning – let’s hope for the official recording to drop in the near future. In the meantime, watch:
