The most unexpected collab in Aussie music?

Grapevine Gathering made its long-awaited return this past weekend, kicking off in Perth and South Australia without a hitch. Boasting a stacked bill graced by The Kooks, Peking Duk, Ball Park Music and more, the beloved music and wine festival is experiencing one of its strongest runs in years, and is no doubt primed for its remaining stops in Victoria, NSW and Queensland over the coming weeks.

A highlight from the weekend, that is currently setting the internet ablaze, is the duet between Grapevine hosts The Inspired Unemployed and The Veronicas, with the two Aussie staples teaming up for an anthemic rendition of A Star Is Born hit, ‘Shallow’. It went down a treat with the packed crowds, and against all odds, it actually sounded half-decent. Add in the fact that the Inspired Unemployed boys were necking copious amounts of shoeys beforehand, and it’s a truly impressive team effort from the two Aussie duos.
