With a Wiggles classic snuck in as well…

The moment has come. After years and years of waiting, the music group that every Aussie kid grew up with, The Wiggles, has finally done triple j’s Like A Version, and they’ve come through with an absolute doozy for the cover.

The news was first announced on triple J breakfast the other day when Blue Wiggle Anthony confirmed to Bryce and Ebony that The Wiggles would indeed be appearing on Like A Version. And it gets better, as Anthony revealed that two of the OG wiggles Pete and Jeff would be joining him and the most recent lineup, merging the two generations for a special one-off performance.

Covering Tame Impala’s ‘Elephant,’ the supergroup went to town on the psychedelic thumper, bringing their signature brand of wholesome vibes as they transformed the stadium electrifier into a sunshine-infused bop. They also included a Wiggles classic throughout it as well. We’re not gonna spoil it for you, but damn, it’s like years of childhood memories are flooding back.

Pretty goddamn amazing. I never thought I’d be actually writing this, but check out the Wiggle’s cover of Tame Impala’s ‘Elephant’ for Like A Version below.
