Fresh off the release of their recent single, ‘Method To The Madness’, British indie rockers The Wombats have today announced a national Australian tour in 2022. Kicking off in Perth on June 5th, the much-loved trio (and honorary Aussies at this point) have also secured six other dates for the rest of the month, with cross-country performances spanning from Hobart to Brisbane.
The news coincides with the release of ‘If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming With You,’ an electro-pop ditty which serves as the second single from the band’s upcoming studio album. Titled Fix Yourself, Not The World, the The Wombat’s fifth LP will be available early next year (January 7); the tracks from which will form part of a UK tour before the boys take to stages across Australia.

Recorded remotely from each bandmate’s respective home, Fix Yourself, Not The World features credits from big-name producers, and follows The Wombats’ earwormy 2018 effort, Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life.
“To say we’re excited about coming back to Australia to play some shows is the understatement of the century,” the band said of their 2022 tour. “We have a new album coming out in January and a tour, yes that’s right, some actual gigs/concerts/performances…can’t wait to see you all!”
Fans can score early access to presale tickets on Friday, August 20th at 9AM by pre-ordering Fix Yourself, Not The World here or signing up at secretsounds.com. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Monday, August 23rd at 9AM (available here), and you can peep the full Aussie tour deets below:
