If you’re a rap fan, there’s no doubt that Wu-Tang Clan’s monumental 36 Chambers album sits proudly in your collection.

With its kung-fu samples, gritty street narratives and unapologetically raw production from RZA, the influence of the East Coast classic is still being felt today, 25 years since its initial release. And to celebrate a quarter-century anniversary, Wu-Tang Clan are coming back to Australia for two special shows at the Sydney Opera House.

The gigs – which take place on December 8 and 9 – will see Wu-Tang perform 36 Chambers in its entirety, which means that you’ll be able to hear classic verses from ‘Bring Da Ruckus,’ ‘Da Mystery Of Chessboxin’ and ‘Method Man’ in the flesh. And if there’s any doubt about which Wu members will actually make it out here, there is confirmation that RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, GZA and Cappadonna will be live onstage.

“The Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most iconic venues. Its architecture and acoustics are inspirations for various genres of artistic expressions,” RZA says. “Wu-Tang Clan is cooking up something special for Australia. The Opera House will be infused with a dose of real hip hop that’s sure to rock from bottom to top. We can’t wait to perform there.”

Tickets go on sale from Thursday, July 19th at 9:00am right here. These two shows will be huge, revisit 36 Chambers below and witness an immortal album come to life in December:
