Three hip hop staples from the early 2000s will be touching down in Australia this June.

It feels a bit weird when the rappers you blasted back in the day (and still to this day) announce things like “20-year anniversary” or “greatest hits” tours. It’s like someone is slapping you in the face with a big metal sign that says “you’re old”… But, in the same breath, it’s testament to the quality of the artist of you can still bang your head to a nonsensical but amazing track like ‘Got Some Teeth’, and yes, you probably are old.

Today’s announcement that Xzibit will be bringing his legendary Man vs. Machine album to Australia in June, along with Trice, and the stripped-back edition of D12 is massive for those of us who can remember the impact that Dr Dre and Eminem had on the culture back in the day.
