Zeds Dead kickstarted 2016 in Sydney and whooped all of our asses at Field Day, and now the Canadian bass bros are back with a new track in ‘Blame’.

‘Blame’ is a single taken off their forthcoming album Northern Lights, due in September. Diplo and Elliphant are just two heavyweight guests set to appear on the album, with Pusha T, Jadakiss, Styles P and even the bro from Weezer also being tapped for collaborations. Big! ‘Blame’ is introduced by silky vocals from Elliphant before a drop that sits somewhere between guttural and euphoric, with the addition of chipmunked vocals for good measure.

As a bonus, our good mate and collaborator Chris Yee has also drawn the artwork for the single, featuring animations of all the artists engaged in a chaotic riot against a lovely pink and purple backdrop. It’s another absolute zinger from Chris, but we don’t expect anything less from the Asian enigma nowadays. Listen to the song below, where you’ll also find the artwork:
