Alpine Hits New Heights On New Single ‘Foolish’
April Foolishness.

‘Foolish’ – the first godly morsel from Melbourne group Alpine’s greatly anticipated album YUCK dropped today, probably making it one of the most appropriately timed single releases since, well, I don’t know – but it’s fucking good. Like really, really good.

The accompanying video clip is so euphorically perfect, watching it feels like you’ve eaten way too many shrooms (the store bought kind) and have been transported back to a 1960s-esque alternate reality where the beat of the song dictates your real-world movements. From the repetitive patterns used, to the gorgeous computer-generated architecture, the beats & melody meld seamlessly with the video.

This song has been played on repeat at least five times since the start of this article and we can guarantee you it will be played at least five more times today. Following their debut album A Is For Alpine being awarded ‘Australian Alternative Album Of The Year’ by iTunes in 2012 – LWA were hypnotised, and we are salivating like rabid rabbits for YUCK to come out.
