The greatest sneaker of all time.

When we headed to Melbourne to celebrate Air Max Day with Nike back in March, we cherished the opportunity to have a close-up look at the history of the undeniably phenomenal Air Max 95.

For us, the original Air Max 95 has always been the G.O.A.T sneaker from Nike & designer Sergio Lozano. Its futuristic and other-worldly design features gradient panels waving aggressively on a bed of bubbles, while shades of grey are broken by intrusive jabs of neon that have made this a zesty head-turner since its inception.

With this year marking 20 years since the iconic silhouette hit the market, Nike are planning something special for all 95 heads. Iconic colours including ‘Neon Yellow’ and ‘Grape’ are set to hit the market once again this year, while some more outrageous and obnoxious versions will be hitting Hype DC and other outlets soon.

Meanwhile, Nike have released some imagery of the anatomy of the Air Max 95, from Lozano’s original sketches into the product that we know and love today. And plus, how could any sneaker that inspired a line by The Game & 50 Cent not be worthy of praise?

All hail the Air Max 95:
