The 1999 classic was Eminem’s breakthrough release and major label debut, and the project which connected the rapper with his mentor Dr. Dre. It features the duo’s classic collaboration ‘Guilty Conscience’, as well as his track with fellow Detroit legend Royce Da 5’9″ and of course ‘My Name Is’. Now, you can listen to all of the album’s cartoonish violence and unashamed vulgarity on cassette tape, with the album set to drop 17 years later with an exclusive merchandise pack.
The novelty factor alone is pretty cool, but if you happen to have a tape deck lying around, give this a whirl and feel the memories flooding back. There’s no word on the release date thus far, but for first dibs head straight here and sign up. You have to be over 13 years of age to grab the goods online, so if you’re a young Slim Shady fan, maybe ask your parents to purchase the tape and you can all listen to ‘Just Don’t Give A Fuck’ together over Sunday roast. Fun for the whole family!
