DJ Leon Smith is back in blazing form. The man who’s been voted in as Australia’s Number. 1 Strip Club DJ has just dropped an absolute whopper of a mix, consisting exclusively of hip-hop bangers from the 2000s.

Leon Smith gave us all an early Christmas present when he dropped his award-winning 2000s mix in December last year, and here’s the highly-anticipated sequel, premiered exclusively by Life Without Andy. First things first: The cover art features Monica Lewinsky, Lil Kim, 50 Cent with a gun and some crucial press shots of Leonard himself wearing the timeless colour co-ordinated basketball jersey and fitted cap combination. What a power move!

Now, onto the mix. It’s 90 minutes of 2000s anthems, kicking off with G-Unit’s quintessential romance number ‘Wanna Get To Know You’ before going down south with legends Juvenile and Soulja Slim. There’s all of your favourites including Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey and Lil Wayne before he started skateboarding and making half-baked rock songs, as well as some later material from foundational hardcore groups like Onyx and Mobb Deep.

The mix has been delivered ahead of The Naughty Noughties party hitting Sydney this Thursday, which celebrates all of the decade’s biggest moments in hip-hop. It’s a public holiday the next day, so turn up at The Cliff Dive with DJ Leon Smith, DJ Chardonnay, Jordvn, Nes and 24 Karat Kev on emcee duties. Bonus incentive: DJ Chardonnay is playing a 20-minute Jennifer Lopez medley which will be very large.

See all The Naughty Noughties details here, and listen to Leon’s extensive mix below. But first, raise your glass and provide a standing ovation for this game-changing artwork. Shouts to Nelly’s facial band-aid:
