While Flume’s career thus far has definitely shifted Australia’s electronic landscape, we’ve always had a mega soft spot for What So Not – his rambunctious, noisier project alongside Emoh Instead.
These lads have definitely delivered more than a handful of bangers, which is why the following news is so sad. Over the weekend, Flume revealed that he will be leaving the duo, stating that “over the last while, Emoh and I have been moving in different directions creatively, we haven’t made any music together in quite a while.”
However, it’s not all gloom and doom: A final joint EP will be released very soon, while What So Not will continue with Emoh Instead taking the reigns from hereon in. We have full faith that Emoh and his myriad of colourful hairstyles will continue to kill it across the globe. You can read Flume’s full statement right here.
