There’s some big news flowing out of the Groovin’ The Moo camp this afternoon, with the crew behind Australia’s favourite regional festival revealing that their lineup will be announced this Thursday, January 28 at 8:00am.

Traveling throughout Australia this April and May, organisers have also given us some cryptic clues to stir the rumour mill. As reported by Triple J, the clues are as such:

• There’s going to be 27 artists on the line-up this year. That’s not including the usual triple j Unearthed comp winners and local acts added to each stop.

• Here’s one for the number crunchers. Between 2009 and 2015, 35 Unearthed winners have played GTM and three of those artists will back on this year’s festival.

• Also, there’s a band from the USA who loved playing the festival so much on their first visit that they’re jetting back over for a return this year.

We headed to the Maitland edition last year, and with a diverse set of acts including everyone from ASAP Ferg to Charli XCX to Hermitude, it’s an absolute blast and a good excuse to get out of Sydney for a few days! It’s vacation time, so have yourself a little road trip to your nearest GTM stop in 2016.
