Jackie Onassis are delivering a free mix tape for fans over the holidays titled “Sushi”. The 5 track is an appetiser for the duo’s forth-coming debut album dropping early 2015 and is set to keep the vibes up all summer.

JACKIE ONASSIS released the Holiday EP pro-bono in 2012 which got shared around – a lot – with single ‘Crystal Balling’ catching the attention of Triple J and BBC 1 in the UK. Since then, Jackie Onassis have been working tirelessly in producing their own take on Australian rap, drawing on the framework of hip-hop to articulate thoughts, observations and feelings on life as it relates to them. The JULIETTE EP, released in January of this year, further highlights this with the Triple J favourite, ‘Special Occasion’ and ‘Juliette’ cementing their place in the local rap scene.

Now with their feet firmly in one spot they have wasted no time getting back in the studio to work on their highly anticipated debut LP. The SUSHI mix tape gives you a taste of the new sound the boys have been working on, showcasing what can be expected from the full length album. When asked about the name of the mix tape, Raph simply replies, “It’s called SUSHI because we love Sushi.” Kai adds, “We wanted to give everyone a Christmas present…cause we love yawl…”
