Horns up, fellas.

Metal and beer might be the best combination ever, because if your denim vest (decorated with patches of bands who have ineligible logos) doesn’t smell like spilled alcohol after a gig, did you even really attend?

Now, you can headbang your way through a case of Budweisers, thanks to shred veterans Metallica. Yes, the King of Beers and Kings of Thrash have partnered for a limited time – so limited in fact that you can only grab their collaboration in Canada. The cans feature a sleek, black design and a lightning bolt heralding Metallica’s classic Ride The Lightning album.

91,000 cans of Metallica beers have been produced, with some of them being given out for free to punters at Metallica’s shows in Quebec City. We’d love to keep some of these as souvenirs, but the temptation to drink a case of these (responsibly) with our pals while playing air guitar might just be too damn strong.

Check out the bad-ass designs below, while you can see our Budweiser Behind The Bar interview with dedicated thrash fan David Leaupepe from Gang of Youths right here.
