Queens duo Mobb Deep will be heading Down Under to perform their immortal album The Infamous in full, and we are too fucking excited. They’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of the album, and guess what? It’s still one of the toughest things we’ve ever laid our ears on.
The Infamous was pivotal for the East Coast sound – it’s a flawless showcase of gritty storytelling and equally brooding production, and an album which solidified the duo as New York’s premier hardcore hip-hop outfit.
Prodigy & Havoc will be hitting five major cities around Australia before a stint in New Zealand, and we expect these gigs to be nothing short of rambunctious. Dust off your camo trousers and wheat Timberlands – this is big:
