The GZA & Tom Morello Perform ‘The Mexican’ Live
With The Roots & Jimmy Fallon.

How about this for an explosive collaboration? Members from two of our favourite teenage groups, The GZA (Wu-Tang Clan) and Tom Morello (Range Against The Machine) have teamed up for a thrilling live rendition of ‘The Mexican’, live on Jimmy Fallon.

The studio version was released last month, but this live performance is particularly electric.

The track is originally by British rock band Babe Ruth, but was sampled by Afrika Bambaataa and has been a longstanding favourite amongst B-Boys and B-Girls – which explains the appearance of two break dancers towards the end of the track, who waste no time in pulling some mind-boggling moves onstage.

Of course, there’s a fucked up (in a good way) solo from Tom Morello, and we’re just happy that this collaboration happened – because no matter how loudly you sing ‘Break Stuff’ by Limp Bizkit when you’re drunk, this is definitely how rap rock should be done:
