Major Lazer’s live shows are amongst the most colourful and exciting, and all of that energy is set to be channeled into a new animation series, set for a US debut on April 16.
The Major Lazer show will star Major Lazer himself in all of his ass-kicking glory, alongside some heroes and villains that can be seen in the show’s opening credits below. “”It’s been almost five years in the making, but it was worth it to have such a succinct TV show for our music fans and cartoon fans alike,” Diplo said.
Among the musicians set to make cameos are Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, Charli XCX (who will be arriving here very soon for Groovin’ The Moo) and the lord himself, RiFF RAFF. Let’s hope that he’s more ridiculous in animation form than he is IRL.
