Following on from her breakthrough video ‘U-Huh’, Tkay Maidza has just dropped an animated affair for her latest single, ‘Switch Lanes’. The girl’s been keeping busy – she’s just played six shows in New York – not bad for a local 18-year-old.
Produced by Paces, the track dances between electro and hip-hop confidently. The video saw Tkay work closely with Adult Swim artist Sachio Cook, and is an absolute mindfuck in the best way possible. An animated Tkay floats throughout various hypercolour dimensions with flying burgers, pizza slices, donuts and watermelons.
