From his colourful clothing range, skateboarding aesthetic and general no-holds-barred approach to rap, it’s easy to see how Tyler, The Creator and Odd Future have been influenced by N.E.R.D.

Last night, Pharrell Williams headlined Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, and he even brought out Chad Hugo to perform a handful of tracks by N.E.R.D. When their classic anthem ‘Rock Star’ took over, it was clearly too much for Tyler – who began crying while bobbing along to the track.
