It seems that going two rounds with Conor McGregor and choking him to the precipice of unconsciousness wasn’t enough for Nate Diaz, because the UFC fighter is now searching for blood on Instagram – and his target is Justin Bieber.
Here’s the backstory: Bieber decided to throw his two cents into the much-hyped fight between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor at last weekend’s UFC 196 event. While Diaz finished in convincing fashion, Bieber still commended McGregor on Instagram, calling him “a true champion”. While he also offered “all the respect to Nate”, for some reason which we can’t wrap our heads around, he continued to state that “his style is terrible.” Oh lord:
With Justin Bieber’s profile and 61 million Instagram followers, it wasn’t long before Diaz caught wind of the comments and clapped back in the most UFC way possible – by ordering him to “SHUT YOUR BITCH ASS UP!!!!!” with all caps and an abundance of exclamation marks, along with a cute cartoon of him slapping the absolute hell out of Bieber:
Given that Diaz has close to 10 years experience in the Octagon, he is a pretty terrifying human being. While Bieber recently rocked some briefs for the #MyCalvins campaign, is he going to trade them for Muay Thai shorts anytime soon? ‘Celebrity MMA DeathMatch’ has a nice ring to it.
