Due to overwhelming demand, Violent Soho have added more shows to their mammoth Waco tour alongside DZ Deathrays & Dune Rats, which is set to be two thorough weeks of beers, sweat and headbanging.
The band sold out one show in Sydney, two shows in Melbourne and two shows in their hometown of Brisbane in just six hours. This resulted in tickets being resold for over $200, with Violent Soho lashing out at scalpers on Facebook and labeling them ‘selfish motherfuckers’. Now, fans who missed out have a second chance of attending, with three additional shows just announced for the aforementioned cities.
The demand for Violent Soho tickets is indicative of the endless hype surrounding their fourth album Waco, spearheaded by singles like ‘Like Soda’ which have earned heavy airplay across the country. While fans will have to wait until March 18 to hear the record in full, a fresh trailer has just dropped to preview some unreleased material and give you a bit more to chew on until the album drops.
