With Wu-Tang Clan legend Ghostface Killah currently touring Australia, he took to the stage at Meredith Music Festival to perform one of the clique’s biggest hits with ‘Protect Ya Neck’.

Ghostface asked for some help from the audience to perform the banger, and eventually Paralympian basketball player Dylan Alcott was hoisted in the air and crowd-surfed his way to the front. The 24-year-old then dismissed all stage fright, delivering a slick verse alongside Ghostface with the swagger of a New York hustler.

Speaking on the performance, he said “The song I listen to before I play any match is ‘Protect Ya Neck’ by Wu-Tang Clan… “I can’t believe I got the verse out perfectly. Sport is my comfort zone. Rapping on stage is not.”

His rhyming skills came after completing a 24-hour wheelchair tennis marathon for the Starligtht Foundation, which raised $90,000.
