The Stereosonic lineup will be dropping very soon on July 15, and we’re expecting to see Diplo’s name on the lineup as a Major Lazer appearance seems inevitable for the November festival.
We’re hoping that Skrillex also makes an appearance at Stereosonic, so that he and Diplo can fuse for a Jack Ü set – especially after their ridculous joint show in Sydney last year. Now, their colossal 2015 hit ‘Where Are Ü Now’ has just received the video treatment. With fairytale production providing a backdrop for Justin Bieber’s ballad-worthy vocals, this is set to be the festival hit of the summer.
The video sees Bieber covered in flashing animation which was drawn by Jack Ü fans, and acts as a dedication to their fans. As explained by the group, “Justin wrote this record during a tough time in his life and it comes to us that sometimes, as artists, we are also just objects and we have to take that as much as we have to use that to create. We all do this for you, respect that you put us here and it’s Ü that made the video.”
