Sure, you may be able to sing all the words to ‘Heart Shaped Box’ on cue, but this one’s for the next level Nirvana fans: A lock of Kurt Cobain’s hair is now up for auction.

350 rock collectibles will be going on sale from November 7 via Julien’s Live auctions, but Cobain’s blonde locks may be the most bizarre. Comic artist Dame Darcy was the previous owner, explaining that Courtney Love commissioned a doll to be made for her daughter Frances Bean using Cobain’s hair. The lock in question was left over after the doll was completed, and comes with a letter of authenticity. With a $4,000 starting price, the item is expected to fetch between $8,000 to $10,000 – meaning that this is strictly for the die-hards.

Also up for auction is the famous green cardigan worn by Cobain during their 1993 MTV Unplugged performance, with a starting bid of $20,000. Importantly, the item also features “a blend of acrylic, mohair and Lycra with five-button closure (one button absent), with two exterior pockets, a burn hole and discoloration near left pocket and discoloration on right pocket.” Farewell to that one missing button.

Check out the full auction for more pieces of rock history, and if anyone has a spare few thousand dollars sitting under their bed, this is your chance to own some truly one of a kind items.
